Robroy Stainless Extra Duty While-In-Use (WIU) Covers are constructed from 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance in wet or corrosive environments. Each unit includes a neoprene gasket and 316 stainless steel mounting hardware to ensure a weather-resistant seal. These covers are cULus Listed to UL 514D and UL 50E, meet CSA C22.2 No. 42.1-13 standards, and are rated Type 3R for outdoor use. Designed to protect GFCI, duplex, or switch devices while in use, they are available in horizontal and vertical orientations and support secure conduit termination when paired with Robroy Stainless device boxes. Typical applications include food processing, washdown areas, wastewater treatment, and other industrial settings requiring durable, code-compliant electrical protection.
